What is Jamie doing???

Hello Family...
You all have Shelli to thank for this. She has been awesome enough to share the blog with me, send me emails and of course not so subtle hints at putting up a post myself. My time is limited, so I am skipping the thought and going straight into whats going on with my family.

Sean and I are both working at Hill AFB as civilians. Sean has been here for about 3 yrs and I have just completed my first year. (That means a raise, to take affect Monday. YAY!) Paxton is also at the daycare on base. At least for now. Its a long drive from West Valley, but its nice that we can drive together. Sean has one year left for his masters degree in public administration. I will be happy when its over. Although it will likely be my turn after that.

We took a trip to San Diego at the end of March. We were able to go with some friends who have a daughter only a few months younger than Pax. We had such a good time. It was hard to come home to the snow. We went to Sea World, Lego Land, San Diego Zoo, and of course the beach. Pax loved every bit of it. Especially the plane ride. This month we are concentrating on the yard. Last year we put in sod for our new house. This year we have grubs and had to tear out a huge section of grass and put new down. Its really not fun to repair what you have already done. We are hoping to put in our deck this month, or next. That should be an interesting project. But we are excited to be able to sit out and BBQ. At the end of the month we are headed to Vegas for a wedding. Wish me luck at the black jack table!

Paxton is 3 1/2 and is probably the coolest kid I know. (bias? YES!) He is very talkative and likes to test us on everything. He still loves to snuggle and is super social. He just started soccer with the city. He is one of the smallest/youngest on his team, but his coach is very impressed with him. He keeps telling me how great he is going to be as he gets older. He has had two games so far. Last Saturday he scored his first goal! We were so excited and proud! My mom was able to get a picture. I will post more pics of the family another time.

My mom is doing great. She is working at Zions Bank in their small business area. She and Adrian are going on a trip down the west cost at the end of the month/beginning of June. I remember taking that trip with my mom and dad. I think its still one of my favorite pictures with my dad. They seem to spend the rest of their time on the motorcycle, 4wheelers, or at the cabin.

Maybe this wont be quiet so long next month, now that you are all caught up. I do agree with Sandra... Can you boys write a little more??? And how about posting a few pictures? I have cousins I've never even seen.
Love to you all. xoxox
Jamie
